Emeldi Group and all its’ subsidiaries are committed to the protection of personal data provided by you. It is important to know that we process the personal data provided by you in a responsible and transparent manner and in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council. You are entitled to request information on recorded personal data and their correction or removal if the data have been provided based on your consent. If the processing is automated, you have the right to data portability and not be subject to a decision made solely based on such decision making. If you have any questions or requests regarding the processing of your personal data, please contact us in writing at the company’s registered address.

Transfer of Personal Data to Third Countries

The personal data are not transferred to processors or other recipients in third countries or in international organisations.

Emeldi Group cares about the security of personal data obtained from you. We have adopted appropriate technical and organisational measure to adequately protect your data with respect to the importance of their processing. Your personal data that we have obtained from you cannot be accessed by any unauthorised person or transferred to third parties for further processing without your consent, unless required by law or unless we need to protect our legal interests.

 

Right To Information

 

You are entitled to ask Emeldi Group for information on what personal data related to you, to what extent and for what purpose are processed. Such information will be provided for free within 30 days, or within 90 days under extraordinary circumstances. You will be informed, if the extended period is used under extraordinary circumstances. If you want to know what data related to you we store, we first need to verify that you are the person to whom the information relates. Please provide us with your sufficient identification in your request. If necessary, we are entitled to request additional information to identify you before we provide you with your personal data that we process.

We are entitled to legitimately reject requests for information that are unreasonable, unduly repetitive, or when the information retrieval requires disproportionate effort or is hardly possible (usually from backup systems, archives etc.).

 

Right To Data Portability

 

You are entitled to obtain personal data that we record about your person in a structured, conventional and machine-readable format. These data may be transferred to another controller based on your request.

 

Updating Data, Right For Correction

 

Since personal data may change over time (e.g. surnames), we encourage you to inform us about any change in your personal data so that we have up-to-date information and potential mistakes are avoided. Informing us about changes in your personal data is essential for us to be able to perform the activities of the Controller properly.

This is linked to your right to correct your personal data that we keep. If you find out that our data is no longer current, you are entitled to request their correction.

 

Objections

 

If you believe that your personal data are not processed in accordance with the applicable GDPR legislation of the European Union, you may raise an objection and we will check the legitimacy of your request. If an objection is raised, the processing of your personal data will be restricted until it is verified whether the objection is legitimate. Please note that in respect of your objection to our processing of your personal data, you are also entitled to approach the competent supervisory authority.

 

Right To Restriction Of Processing

 

You have the right to restrict the processing of your personal data if you think that the data recorded are inaccurate or that we process them unlawfully, and also if you think that we no longer need these data for processing.

 

Right For Removal

 

In the event that you have consented to the processing of your personal data (e.g. by providing an e-mail address for receiving newsletters), you may revoke it at any time and we are subsequently obliged to delete your data that we process solely based on your consent. The right for removal shall not apply to data processed under a contractual obligation, for legal reasons or legitimate interests. If some of your data are stored in our backup systems that automatically ensure the resilience of all our systems and serve as protection against data loss in case of accidents, we are not able to delete these data from the backup systems, as it is often not technically possible. However, these data are not further actively processed and will not be used for other processing purposes.
